Let's go back and we're going to talk about the idiom. Never mind. All right? So when do we use this idiom? Well, you can use it when you want someone to know something is not important, right? If you have something on your mind, you're thinking, you know, maybe maybe I'll eat a hamburger today.

And you tell your friend, and you're like, I'm sorry, I didn't hear what you said. And they said, Ah, nevermind, it's not important. You can also use nevermind, if you get tired, trying to explain something to someone. So if someone keeps asking you over and over, why is one plus one equal to two? I don't understand. And you try to explain you say, well, one, plus one more, you get two.

And they say, I don't understand. And you keep trying to explain and then you catch To lose your patience, you could say, ah, never mind. Never mind. I'm tired of trying to explain to you. Right Mario de says not to worry about Never mind right to numb dang says Don't worry. Hmm.

So let's see it in action. Right? Here is the example. Why is the boss dancing on his car like a chicken? Wait a moment. Nevermind.

I probably don't want to know. Why is the boss dancing on his car like a chicken? We don't want to know. Nevermind, as in, you know, don't worry about it. I don't want to know. Let's see.

Let's talk about the sentence. Wait a moment. All right. I'm going to give you other ways to say wait a moment. Here we go. So wait a moment has to do with time right.

So in the picture, we have Have a guy here and he's pointing to his watch. Looks like a nice white. Yeah, it was one of those smartwatches. And down here we have a finger that's pushing on the pause button to wait a moment is like to pause, right? Another way to say wait a moment is you could say Hold on a sec. Right?

And SEC is short for a second. But it's just quick to say Hold on a sec. Can you come quick and help me? Uh, hold on a sec. I'm on the phone, something like that. All right.

Yep. Myriam D says, hang on, very well done. We could also say, wait a minute, right? On the first one Hold on a sec. Second, short per second. But we could also say wait a minute.

So if someone says, I need you to come to the office right away, you could say Oh, wait a minute. I'm going to go to the bathroom. First. thing like that. Another way we could say is give me a moment. So instead of saying wait a moment, which actually is a command, but it's kind of a nice command, we could say give me a moment.

Very similar just means I need a moment of time to complete something or do something. Right tala. So Sally Manohar says Just a moment. That's right. And another one is just a little bit different. quite similar.

Stop for a minute. Right stop for a minute, though. Like pause, like the finger over here is on the pause button. Freeze. Right. Just wait and stop for a moment.

Wait a moment. Hold on a sec. Wait a minute. I think we should do pronunciation. All right. Repeat after me and put some apples in the comments if you're doing the pronunciation.

Okay, repeat out loud. Wait a moment. Hold on a sec. Wait a minute. Give me a moment. Stop for a minute.

Okay, so once again, these are all talking about time, like the picture over here. We need to pause. Maybe we need to complete something or something needs to happen before we can move forward. Right? In this one. Why is the boss dancing on his car like a chicken?

Wait a moment? Hold on a minute, huh? Never mind. I probably don't want to know. So, here Wait a moment is like, ah, let me think right, because it seems strange that the boss is dancing on his car like a chicken. But if I get involved, maybe it's not something I want to know about.

So wait a moment. Nevermind. Yeah, don't worry about it. I probably don't want to know. All right, let's move forward to the picture.
