Now that we have the outline of our ladies, we can begin to drop in our swimsuits. So I'm going to have just very basic shapes. And I'm going to be mindful as I draw them of the figures we're drawing them onto. So this will be a bikini. And as it comes up and over the shoulder, you can give that bikini a soft roll because it is going to form to the body. That's it.

We will color these in later. Do not worry too much about the pencil marks on the swimsuits. They'll be black, which is straightforward, but make sure you get rid of any marks that are on your skin tone because we will be using watercolor and if you watercolor over your pencil marks, you can no longer erase them. So just draw lightly and take it easy to begin, we'll add back in some detail lines after everything is painted, but know that as you draw, okay, and feel free to add in any little details you want. I'm going to have some bows maybe coming off her shoes give her a little more attitude. I'm also going to give her some sunglasses and a little easier to anchor the sunglasses onto.

Let's do a top bun. And then very lightly, you can pencil in a mouth. So what I've done here is I created the centerline of the mouth to little bumps for the tablet, and just a little straight line to show you where Her where her lips would stop. That is all you need. All right, and these would be black. You get the idea.

She will also have little ears. They don't need to stick out too far, just about three quarters of the way up the head is where the top of the ear should be. And it should stop just before your jawline. Typically I pick one hairstyle and just stick with it the whole way. They will all have buttons. And she will also have a little eye.

What I've done here is just lightly give her an eyebrow, half circle for the top of her eye, a little dabbed on center circle, don't completely fill it in. We will work with that later and get the illusion of a glare off her eye and then time Little eyelashes. Your your biggest challenge here will be to keep your eyes symmetrical. It's a different wrist motion when you draw the right side than the left side. So give it some time. If you're not happy erase it start over perfectly fine.

Lips Same as before. Her neck is looking a little thin, so I'm going to finesse it. Anytime you're not happy with something, just be patient with yourself. You can always erase and adjust. Okay, she is going to have a deep v swimsuit here. Not quite to the belly button and then maybe she has also been big bow Coming off the center.

Good. This one same general swimsuit shapes, keep it simple. You can play with how far her hemline hemlines are going or what sort of sleeves she has. It's gonna keep this very straightforward. might see a little peek here. She will also have sunglasses.

You can put sunglasses on the Mall. If that's easier to start out. I would encourage you don't use it as a crutch. Do figure out how you want to illustrate eyes eventually. That's important. Fun, simple You'll notice I haven't illustrated the noses on any of the figures and the nose is not going to be the most important part of your illustration.

Again, it's about the clothes. And if you want to put a nose you can I find that is the easiest way to overcomplicate the drawing. And it's the one thing I'm I'm happiest to leave out. Maybe she has some bows on her shoes to try to keep the bow shape organic. And then there'll have to be like a little knot at the center. Last one, we can put her on a bikini also.

Maybe just a little indication of where her clavicle would be. fashion illustrations are not typically busty. So you don't have to have a lot of shape here. Just a little will get the point across. She has a belly button about there and maybe just one bow here. Okay, two bows here.

That's it doesn't matter what order you draw these things in just as long as you get all of her features on there and her bond Okay, good. Don't forget to erase any lines that you don't want to show up in your final illustration, because next we will be getting our watercolors ready and painting these in. Alright, see you in the next session.
