We highly recommend that you meet with a physiotherapist or experienced (and certified) personal trainer to have them evaluate your movement patterns along with your functional strength and mobility before starting a strength program. This is especially important if you are prone to injury.
If you are evaluated you will most likely perform a battery of tests to determine any limitations in motion and strength that would negatively affect your ability to perform your exercise safely and effectively.
