For example, if you have a decision to make about what's the best thing to do? Be honest with yourself, what do you really want to do? What are you afraid you would be told would be the right thing? You know, like, what do you What's your worst case scenario here? So you lay out on the table, getting everything out on the table, this is what my hopes are. These are what my fears are.
Okay, now, I'll go in what really is the best thing. So I think you know, just being upfront with yourself really helps a lot. And one way that I determined the opportunities and suggest that people do is what I call the looking for the open door, that at any moment in our life, when we have a decision to make, I imagine those alternatives as different doors that we're facing. And I can put a scan those with my intuitive sense, and I feel which doors open where is the open door, and then then I know that's the one to follow. But you can't Do this in a tense type state. An exercise I recommend for people is to look into the future.
To see the possibilities. You might play with various choices say, well suppose I stay in New Jersey, what will be happening in five years and you look at a picture of the future, what happens? Well, suppose I moved to the west coast, what will be happening with that alternative future. And it's, the information is conveyed not only in the pictures themselves, but also in the gut feeling. If it makes you kind of anxious and insecure, it's not the one that's gonna work that makes you feel really great and excited. And, you know, like, like, you're just about to place a winning bet on the roulette table.
That's the one to go for. Okay, if you have a situation that is a challenge to you in your life, what I would suggest that you try to do is you you come up with an image of something that symbolizes that particular situation or problem that you're struggling with. And imagine that you're holding that symbol in your hand and feel its weight. Get the details of what it looks like. Listen to what it might be saying to you, and then actually eat it. Take a bite of that image to it, taste it, smell it, and swallow it.
And feel how your body responds to that symbol in that image. Your body knows what's right for you and what isn't. And you'll get an immediate sense of whether this situation is something that is healthy for you or something to pursue or something you should let go up and release in your life.
