How does it work? The location method uses familiar locations to help you memorize important information. Low G equals locations. This is a Latin word meaning places. The location method is based on two components of the artificial memory, images and places. Images represent the contents of what you wish to remember, places are where those images are stored.

The idea is to create a path in your mind made up of places that you know will and can easily visualize, and then populate these places with images representing the parts of the speech that you need to memorize. The idea is to create a path in your mind made up of places that you know well and can easily visualize, and then populate these places with images representing the parts of this speech that you need to memorize. In your speech, you need to weave the mental images together, you associate each idea that you want to learn with a route marker and combine them into one image by using the link method. When do you want to remember these words again, you simply go through the route markers in the same sequence and all the words appear in your mind's eye. Your mind couldn't get confused about the order of the speech part because the mental journey will give you the order effortlessly.

The location method has to variant, the Roman room technique based fundamental route around a room or a building that you know, visualize and denote objects and their associated images. The journey technique based on a mental journey through a place you know well, like a building or town. along the journey, there are specific locations that you always visit in the same order. does good for example, be your journey to work in the morning, the route To be zero parents or a tour around the holiday destination. Both techniques works with mental roots, which are called memory palaces. A memory palace is a metaphor for any well known place that you're able to easily visualize.

Memory palaces can be mental routes around the room route through town, or they can be routes in your favorite computer game. They can be real or imaginary, small or big, indoors or outdoors, so long as there's some order that links one place to the next and so long as they are intimately familiar. Tip the recommended technique for memorizing speeches is the Roman room variant of the loach's system. It's always a good option to create a journey in a logical order across the same room. Where do you were supposed to give a speech? This way, all the stages are visible in front of you.

And if you are stuck somewhere for whatever reason, you can always look at the next level. In your journey, and can immediately recall your next point. In ancient Rome mnemonic was part of every public speakers training in restorick. based on information from manuscripts of the time, this techniques seems to have been well known. For example, some speakers use the individual pillars of the hall in which they were speaking as markers to remember the key points of their lecture. Second, using the location method.

Step one, prepare the journey. To use this technique most effectively, it is recommended to prepare the journey beforehand. In this way, the landmarks are already clear in your mind before you begin to memorize the information. Step two, identify the specific storage locations along your route. You can select this place Either in your imagination, or by actually taking a walk to see them. Just pick up places that form a logical path as you walk around from start to finish.

One of the ways of doing this is to write down all the landmarks that you can recall in order on a piece of paper. Step three, memorize the route. Try visualizing the places when you are not there, and then check your mental image to make sure you have remember every location and put them in the correct order. Once the stops on the journey are firmly fixed in your imagination, you can easily locate items out of order. Step four, begin to use it. With your new memory journey you are able to associate each word item, topic, concept or idea with the locations.

If you wish to add extra details, such as statistics, you can use the memory technique for numbers such as number, shape, number rhyme or de major system In order to create memorable images and add them to your journey, make the image visually exciting to help you better remember the image, the more dramatic even bizarre and wacky the scene, the better you can remember it. It will help you to remember the correct order and can easily be used over and over again for different purposes. You just see the place call of your association with it, and you will remember the item on your list that you have placed there. Now that you're familiar with the method, here is a short example of how to use it a list of key words to remember the five key success factors of business first, managing people second, strategic focus, third, operations, fourth, physical resources.

Fifth customer relations form a memorable picture for each factor then put it in a specific storage location along the journey. Now let's create the mental journey. One. First of all, you will talk about management. Managing a poster with a business woman on the left wall. Then you will need to refer to strategic focus.

Imagine oversight photographic objective in front of the window. Three, the next factor that you must present is operations. Imagine a surgeon operating in the corner of the room. Strange Association right? Remember strange memorable, the more absurd, vivid or ridiculous associations you can make your mental images, the more readily they'll come back to you. For then you need to talk about physical resources.

As a well known physicist, Einstein will remind you of the word physical. Five. The last factor is customer satisfaction, shopping back in the right trigger for the notion of customer. Now, let's recapitulate as if you were in front of the audience. You will talk first about management then about strategic focus, operations, physical resources. And finally, customer relations.

The location method is especially useful when you want to learn a series of items from words and names two topics to cover in your speech in a particular order.
