Welcome to the memory techniques for public speaking course. First of all, let me introduce myself. My name is Chris m NEEMO, and I am a memory improvement writer and blogger at the NEEMO Bay. And what is the role of memorization in public speaking? According to public speaking expert, there are three main steps for designing and delivering the speech. First, the preparation of the speech. This includes research, designing and writing the speech. Second, the memorization of the speech.

And third, the speech delivery. Memory techniques are typically used in all of these steps of this process, preparation memorization and recall the role of memorization, a good memories and essential requirement for public speaking. Why? Regardless of who you are, and what type of job you are, currently have or plan to have, there's a good chance that one day you will be required to make a speech in public. He may be a presentation for your colleagues. He may be a speech at a wedding or after dinner.

We all have to address others in public at some time in our lives. And for many of us, it can be a nerve wracking occasion, but a train memory can help you to deliver a good speech. effortlessly and without any worry. One of the most embarrassing things that can happen to a person is to forget a speech while in front of his audience. What do you think about a speaker who falter or hesitate during his speech? As if he's not sure of what he has to say?

After all, anyone who is asked to give a talk on any particular subject must know that subject pretty well. Otherwise, what would he be asked to talk about it? The problem is that even if you're well versed in your subject, you may forget some of the facts you want to speak about. memorized your speech, and people will love to listen. When you are confident of what you have to say, the fear diminish. In ancient Rome, mnemonic was part of every public speakers training in restorick. based on information from manuscripts of the time, this techniques seems to have been well known, and the knowledge of them was probably widely distributed.

In the Middle Ages, the art of memory became the basic method for reading and meditating upon the Bible. It was part of the education of monks in monasteries to help them retain the abstract notions. Think about the most impressive speeches you've heard, are they read by someone whose eyes looked down and whose hands turn over pages? Probably not. The most engaging, inspiring speeches are those given by a speaker who makes eye contact with the audience smiles at them, and talks as if it all comes naturally. You need to maintain eye contact with your audience and hold their attention.
