Hi, I'm Tony factory and welcome to another video blog series. Thank you for joining me. Today's topic is letting go of negative thoughts, negative thoughts feed off recurring stimuli, and that is more of the same thoughts. you entertain anywhere between 60 to 70,000 thoughts per day. Most of these thoughts are recurring thought patterns. And essentially, it's on a feedback loop where you're processing the constant thought, day in, day out, reflect upon the last week and notice if you will, the thought patterns that were dominant to your mental state.
So we tend to occur and repeat the same thoughts on a daily basis. Your thoughts have a theme to them much like a movie. It's effective and essential for you in order to break the cycle that you become aware of this movie. What is the theme of the movie? And if we take the scenario of films at a cinema, is it a horror film? Hopefully not.
Is it a comedy? Is that a drama? What is being played out in your mind on a daily basis? When you understand the theme and the concept behind the thoughts that are occurring on a daily basis, you're empowered to take action and understand the awareness and the meaning surrounding those thoughts. What are your thoughts asking of you? What are they seeking you to know or to understand?
Why do you keep having these records Hearing thoughts, let go of the resistance to the thought and that is to be present. It's essential that you understand that the thoughts that you entertain and not the real you, you are far more than the thoughts that you think on a daily hourly basis. And finally, if we take again the wisdom of the Buddhist teaching, and even the Hindu teaching, and that is who is doing the thinking, become the observer or the watcher of the forward, as opposed to the interpreter. When you become the observer, and the watcher of the thought, you become removed or you remove yourself from essentially interpreting and analyzing the thought. Once again, thank you for joining me on this video blog series on lending have negative thoughts. Thank you for joining me once again.
