Hi. So I want to talk to you about attention and the quality of attention that you can bring to your interactions with people in your life and people at work. So the quality of attention that you bring makes all the difference. People respond very differently to presence versus kind of distracted attention. And I know that at work, people are super busy, and there's more to do than you can probably get done. I personally don't ever get all the things on my to do list done in a day, and I'm imagining you don't either.

So, first of all, acknowledge that and then bring your attention, the quality of your attention to each task and then Bring the quality of your attention, of caring attention of Kind attention to the person that you're talking to that you're relating to. Because this is so helpful, we're first humans and second employees or employers were first humans. So how to bring some humaneness, some kindness, some care, and some generosity to your interactions. First thing I will say is slow down, slow down, slow down, take a few minutes at the beginning of your day, and I've worked with other companies, other groups, and they do two minutes of mindfulness meditation at the beginning of the day. What if you started your staff meeting on Monday morning, with two minutes of mindfulness, just breathing, just landing in your body just slowing down and on Give you a mindfulness meditation that you can do as part of this course.

So really, it's just slowing down, feel your feet, feel your breath, come from relaxation, it's already proven that we get a lot more done when we slow down and when we relax. So the key to productivity and healthy relationships is the quality of attention that you bring the quality of attention that you bring first and foremost to yourself. So you spend two minutes at the beginning of your day when you arrive in the office when you arrive at work to slow down. If you can do it with your group with your company. All the better. And you can do it yourself.

Slow down. Bring a steady, caring quality of attention. To what is happening to who you're with. So bring the fullness of your attention to each interaction, the fullness of your attention to each interaction. And something you can do is you can just hear your own voice. I'm hearing my own voice.

I'm feeling my voice resonating and my vocal cords in my chest, bringing me into present time bringing me into a certain quality of attention. So practice bringing your attention to yourself and to others caring, generous attention. Perhaps
