Okay, I could spend honestly hours on this one individual thing because as an email marketer, boy, I know how important a subject line is. And when it comes to the subject line, it's the most important thing that you could probably do, because it gets someone the idea of why they're going to be opening this email, what you're trying to accomplish, and what the overall project idea or scheme is. With the subject line being written incorrectly, a lot of misinterpretations can come about. Sometimes something as simple as high is not enough when sending out an email. A high is not even enough if you're an email marketer and you know the person well enough. I've almost never ever seen an email sent to me like this that has gotten anything done.

Most of these hi messages end up getting deleted because I assume it's just someone who doesn't know me however, One thing that may work better, if you're trying to get something that's a little bit more important is adding an R e, which stands for reply in front and saying something like, you know, Project X, Y, Z starting. So again, something like that everyone understands whatever this project is it's going to be starting isn't going to be stopping, tell them that whatever that subject line is, it needs to be directly correlated to what you're talking about. And I don't want to be a dead horse, but it needs to be very concise here and it can't be something that just goes on and on and strings itself along. Usually what you're going to be aiming for is anywhere from an if you can explain it in two words.

I guess that's fine, all right, but you're gonna probably be aiming for anywhere from three to six words. And the reason for this is, is that you just need to shorthand what you're getting across so that way people can open it up. Again, if it has to do with a project, give the project name, if it has to do with whatever they hired you to do, maybe you happen to do SEO, reputation management, whatever that is. Just simply put the idea of reputation management information needed or you know, whatever you're going after, in terms of the email. Once you have the subject line, then what you can do from here is expand on everything. That's what the rest of the email is for expanding on the idea, writing all that you need to to get the point across of whatever needs to be accomplished information sent, a reply, a confirmation, whatever it may be, simply get the subject line down to a pat is so very important.

A wrong subject line can give wrong ideas and sometimes not even get opened simply because it's so simple in its subject line nature, no highs, no hellos. No, I'm so don't introduce yourself through an email. In fact, what you do is you reference something that has to do with why you're contacting that person. Again, it's project XYZ, that's why we're reaching out. Once you're inside the actual email, then, then you can go, Hi, I'm so and so. And we wanted to do this and this and we need 123 in order to get started.

So all of that can then detail what the subject line was all about. mess up the subject line and you messed up everything. So it's important to really focus. Thank you. Even just for a few moments, the subject line is very important about what you're getting across. And in fact, oftentimes, if you use email clients that use a reply inside of the email templates, then they'll send back the entire conversation to you using that exact same subject line.

So getting it in the subject line, right from the first email is going to keep that entire conversation centered around that core idea. If there's something else that has to do with that, you know, hey, I was talking about project XYZ. And now, you know, I mean to talk about project ABC. So you're going to send a different email, you don't again, want to get these things mixed up. You don't want to reply about two different two different campaigns inside of an email that has nothing to do with the reference towards the campaign you're actually talking about. Can you confuse minds so terribly, so again, always create a new email when necessary.
