DESCRIPTION: What will you learn in this course?

In this class, the student will come to understand and determine when to use the various methods to process requirements for goods or services based on cost, timing, existing contracts, and competitive bidding, as appropriate. The review will cover RFI's, RFPs, RFQ, and IFBs.
Students interested in this class will be new supply management professionals with 1 to 3 years of experience or undergraduate or graduate students who are studying supply management curriculums or existing professionals who are contemplating a career change in the supply management arena.
When the student understands the why and where dictating which method or combination of methods should be used for a particular project, they will be enabled to become more efficient in managing those events, improve cycle time and obtain the timely realization of benefits for the company.
