It all begins with a story. Once upon a time in a galaxy called the Milky Way, density wave form the spiral arm, giving rise to a massive burst of star formation. Out of this compressed gas and dust, proto stars begin to condense out like droplets of do in the night. One of these droplets begin to condense further to form a star surrounded by planets. And one of these newly formed planets would later be called Earth. On this fertile water planet, life soon began to arise.

Its growth, living and dying, shaped and nurtured by the same cosmic forces in dynamics that had led to the formation of the earth, the solar system, the sun, the Milky Way, and all the myriad galaxies and stars that filled the night sky. One of these cosmic dynamics is the process of formation of distinct unique individuals called centration or individuation. Another cosmic dynamic is the eventual dissolution of these individuals, releasing the individual form back into the cosmic matrix to be reshaped and new and creative ways into the myriad patterns of future generations. We see these two dynamics interplaying throughout the entire cosmos, with centration, giving rise to the forms of individuals, which eventually dissolve in order that new forms of individuation can take place. clouds of gas and dust give rise to stars, which eventually dissolve back into the gas and dust from which they came in order to form new stars.

These and other dynamics have been shaping the life of the cosmos for nearly 14 billion years. chances are there's some wisdom and insight here about that dynamics that shaped our own lives. Our participation in this cosmos is part of a long lineage of these dynamics at work with life and death, creation, destruction, forming the very backbone of cosmic history that has brought us here today. In this series, we'll explore these cosmic dynamics of centration and dissolution. Well others as a way of illustrating that our lives are extensions of and intertwine with the very dynamics of the cosmos. And we'll see that there are universal and cosmic principles that work in both the living and the dying process.

And recognizing and understanding these principles can cultivate a sense of allowing ease and trust in the larger perspective, leading both personal fulfilment and alignment with the larger process. So stay tuned for further episodes.
