Hi, and welcome. In this course, we're going to talk about how to become successful with LinkedIn. We're going to talk about some of the networking tactics that we've used, and how to turn your LinkedIn community into a highly profitable network for you and for everyone in your community. So, if you're not sure about LinkedIn, I'm gonna give you a couple facts here. LinkedIn was started by Reed Hoffman in 2002. It's one of the largest social networks in the world, but it's by far the largest professional network with over 161 members currently.

Okay, so LinkedIn also gets about 4 million hits per day. So lots of traffic to LinkedIn, lots of numbers and LinkedIn. Okay, so just like Facebook, there's a lot of opportunity here. There's also over 2 million company profile pages too. So these are for, you know, big companies in the fortune 500 Executive profiles. It's probably One of the easiest ways that I've ever seen to connect with somebody at an extremely high level in business, regardless of what you're trying to do, and there's also over 400,000 unique domains actively using the LinkedIn Share button.

Okay, so lots of lots of sharing lots of traffic, utilizing LinkedIn as a great as a great way to get ranked in the search engines. It's a great way to connect. It's a great way to join groups. And it's also a great way to reach people and make a lot of money, which is what we're going to talk about in this course. But the first thing you need to do is come here to linkedin.com slash home, it'll just take you to the homepage. And it's really simple.

You just enter your name, first name, last name, email, enter the email that you check, they're going to send you this information. And then just enter your password and join now and you're good to go. You're all logged in, and then the next video show you how to set up your profile and make it look really good. Then we'll talk about some other updates and cool tools you can use in LinkedIn.
