There's also recommendations. Okay, so if you go into your contacts here, you can see, we got check this guy out Dylan miles, buddy of mine. So what I'm going to do here is I'm going to give Dylan a recommendation. Okay? So one thing I can do is just go here to recommend Dylan. He was a business partner, but maybe I hired him.

Maybe we work together things at the same company. Maybe I was a student, or Dylan was a student with me or professor. Either way, just choose whichever one and then go in and type out a cool recommendation for this person. So one technique we talked about was actually having Dylan send me what he wants me to say, okay, so he can send me what he wants me to say. I can put it in here, put my own little twist on it, and then send it out. I can choose his title.

I can choose a couple options of on the basis. But really, what's important is what you say here. So, you know, Dylan the key to or the benefit to having Dylan Tell me what he wants me to say. Is that this is going to go on his profile, so I can put whatever keywords He wants me to put in there to help him rank to. Okay. Now if I don't know Dylan very well, but we did work together, I might just make a recommendation for him.

Okay, so maybe he did some work for me. I might just type up some stuff you know, did a great job we love working with him would definitely recommend him want to work with him again. And I might not add might not have him send me something if he's a good friend of mine. Or maybe he's somebody very busy that I might, you know, I might ask them to. If he's a good friend, if he's a good friend of mine, then I might, you know, tell them to send me the recommendation. If I'm extremely busy.

If you want a recommendation from someone that's extremely busy, typically, they'll want you to send the recommendation, they'll look it over, make sure it's legit, and they'll recommend you it's pretty simple. So recognition recommendations are great. Just to start out, just find 10 people you actually know give them a genuine recommended Okay, just take the time to do that. Most people will recommend you once you recommend them. Okay, so even if the first technique doesn't work of actually recommending or asking somebody to send you the recommendation, just try this just give value to 10 people and see what happens. Okay?

At the end of the day, you just made 10 people's lives better and gave them a recommendation. So it's not the end of the world if you don't get all 10 back. So and then the last thing you do is you can just ask for recommendation, if it's a really close friend, you got if you have a lot of friends on here, if you have a lot of buddies, a lot of people you've worked with you if you're if you're working at a company, fill out co workers, hey, do you give me a recommendation? All right. I mean, it's not like that big of a deal. It's not that hard to type out a recommendation.

I typically just like to tell people what to say about me because obviously I know what would be good for my business, if you were to say about me, right? So and then you also want to join groups. So if you click On groups that says you're not a member of any groups, but what LinkedIn will do is it'll say groups you may like so you can go here, you can look at all these different groups got founder and CEO band of entrepreneurs, world green Business Association, founder Institute General, you can join groups that are about your business, you can join groups that are about your philanthropy, you can join groups about anything, okay? And if you're trying to rank in LinkedIn, the more groups you're in the better join the top 50 groups in your niche so you're seeing is actively engaged in your area of specialty and LinkedIn sighs okay.

I mean, the more if you're trying to rank for certain types of business then join all the groups and not business start participating, you know, communicate with these people connect with these people connect the people in these groups, other people and other groups that you're in. I mean, it's, it's pretty simple. It's, it's, this is something that's exponential, okay. You start doing this, you know, you're gonna start joining a group you'll, you'll start a dialogue. You connect one person to one person, and that's going to grow and grow and grow and grow and grow and evolve. Time, you're going to be one of those people showing up in the top five of LinkedIn for whatever keywords, you're trying to rank for whatever business, okay, it's not all about keywords, we'll talk about that.

But these other steps are equally if not more important. And then also, you can create groups. Okay, so you can come down here and create a group, I think you can create up to 12 groups with just the basic plan. So why not just create 12 groups and just start inviting people that you're in contact with and connected with to join your groups and, you know, start contributing to them? Ask questions, connect people, I mean, creating these groups is a great way to organize your contacts, but it's also a great way to connect people and get ranked in the in the search engines here. So you can do the 12.

So why not just do that mini and then if you do end up upgrading, I think you can do more. And then you can also answer questions. So come here to go back to the homepage. Go to more Then click on answers. So here at answers you can go in you can see this week's talk experts, okay? So you can click on this person and see kind of what what they're up to what they're doing.

Okay, obviously this person is an expert in their field, so may want to connect with this person. Okay, so let's go back. What we're gonna do is we're gonna answer questions. Okay, so we're gonna go here to answer now. We're gonna click here, it says, accountability. Is it a positive or negative connotation?

Okay, that's a good question. All right. So let's go in here and see what the question is. accountability. Is that a positive or negative connotation? Okay.

It's a good question. Okay. I value accountability. I think if somebody says they're gonna do something, I expect them to do it. And if they can't do it, I expect them to make it right somehow. That's also integrity.

It's, it's something that I try to strive for. But you know, reading Questions and try to answer them. You know, maybe some people could see accountability as a negative connotation. You can do an advanced answer search. So you can search for, for answers based on keywords. You can just search for questions.

Only type in a keyword, choose a category show only unanswered questions. Okay, so that's a great way to just find on answer questions that you can answer.
