Hello, I'm Daniela melon, an author and artist. Thanks for joining me for today's class on painting watercolor Gerber daisies. Gerber daisies are beautiful, flat headed flowers that come in many colors. They have multiple rows of concentric petals, and are an artist string to paint. In today's class, we'll paint three images of this elegant blossom. The first illustration is geared towards beginners, and features a portrait of a daisy in soft pink and purple.

The second image captures the graceful profile of a bolder colored blossom and uses this technique for advanced beginners. The last painting combines two images to produce orange and yellow flowers. This image is geared towards advanced beginners as well. To start your painting, gather your painting supplies download Class template. Select from the five days the illustrations and choose the one you'd like to paint. I've included a chapter on different ways to use the template.

After you've chosen your Daisy, trace it onto watercolor paper, and then we'll start the process of building our image. Each layer is broken down into its own class, with the first two illustrations taking only six steps from start to finish. I hope you enjoy the process of creating an elegant Daisy from choosing the colors drawing the template and creating your finished image. Thank you for joining me
