DESCRIPTION:

Social media has become a popular thing used by high school and college athletes. Whether it’s Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or Snapchat, it’s being used by most athletes. It’s important for athletes to realize the consequences that social media brings when it’s not being used responsibly. One inappropriate post can potentially ruin opportunities as social media can show what your character is.
What not to post on Social Media:

Any inappropriate or foul language
A photo or video of you drinking and/or doing drugs
Any nudity photos
Photo of you with a lot of cash in your hand, it could be a symbol of being a drug dealer or receiving impermissible benefits
Any inappropriate gestures
Threatening others
Criticizing others
Negative Words about a mentor and/or your team

What to Post on Social Media:

Support for your team and family
A spiritual side like Bible verses
Thank you to people who have given you a special opportunity
An accomplishment or a tough workout that was completed...
