DESCRIPTION: 

Teachers, coaches, and employers may hesitate to be honest with you because they don’t like hurting others’ feelings, damaging relationships, or getting fired.
Be sure to ask them for honest feedback and let them know about your goals and ambitions
Only look for honest feedback if you are willing to accept what they have to say, and see it has an opportunity to improve.
Ask coaches to give an honest evaluation of your child’s strengths and weaknesses on and off the playing court, field, diamond, rink, etc.  Make sure the evaluation includes soft skills like listening, attitude, effort, etc. as well as the sport physical skill sets.

Action Steps:

Ask your child how they would like to receive the feedback. This will help give an honest evaluation to happen respectfully. 
Give them steps that are clear to them to help them take out in the future to improve the skills that they lack.
