Here are a few ways that you as a parent can create a positive sports experience for your kid, that they will have fun and learn positive character and life skills to last a lifetime.
Before the Game: 

Tell your child before each game that you are proud of him/her regardless of how well he/she plays.

During the Game: 
There are four roles you can choose from.  It is important that you choose one role.

Coach
Participant
Officiate
Spectate

Parents – if you want to coach apply. If you to officiate apply, if you want to play find an old person league to play in, SPECTATE and be supportive in a positive way.
Fill your children's "Emotional Tank" During the Game: Through praise and positive recognition you can fill up your child's emotional tank so they can play their very best.
Don't give instructions to your child during the game. Let the coach correct player mistakes: The last thing that your child needs is another person attempting to be a coach during the game. You could be...
