DESCRIPTION:
Dr. Donna Henderson has been a licensed psychologist for over 20 years and has been practicing in Maryland, the USA since 2009. Her core belief is that a neuropsychological evaluation can be a positive and life-changing experience, and during her evaluations, she spends a lot of time uncovering each individual's strengths as well as problem areas. She is part of The Stixrud Group founded by Dr. William Stixrud.
In this talk, Dr. Henderson talks about how autism presents differently in girls, the effects of social masking on autistic girls, and strategies to help bridge this gap.
