Now when it comes to a free program that you want to record with, I have to recommend basically the one and only blender. This works for Windows, Mac or Linux. Either way, there's no watermarks at all This is allowed for both commercial and free and private use. So it's basically open to everybody. I think that really the only thing that is complex behind it is it seems overwhelming because you can have so many tracks on it. But at the end of the day, it has all of the same normal editing features, which is you know, cut, copy, duplicate, hide track, listen to a track, add it and preview your edits.
That's mainly what you need as a Basic Editor. So Blender goes a long way and it has so many different features inside of it. If you want to become a professional with it. You certainly can. There's a lot of different transitions It was really meant to be a full blown 3d animation suite. So if you can kind of wrap your head around that, and it does video secondarily and it does it really well.
Then I have to recommend Blender for your free video editing program.
