Immediately after recording, you'll probably find yourself at this screen within the Camtasia editor. And it's naturally going to load up your most recent recording, which happens to be a.tr ec or track. And this is a specific file that is only programmed for Camtasia recorder to be edited in Camtasia editor. And if you try and take this to other programs, it just won't work. If you try and play this by itself, it needs to either have the Camtasia editor open in order to play it or installed on the computer. So if you send these to people who don't have Camtasia to edit these your software or your videos, then that's going to be an issue.
In order to create editable material. All you're going to simply do is drag and drop, like I said before that screen or that video into the the docket and then you're going to go to share local file and The output is extremely important. So I suggest that you use either mp4 with smart player as an automatic set. Or you do custom production production settings. And I'm going to go through custom. So you can kind of see the ideas of what is available for you to choose from.
Now, most times, they're going to recommend an mp4. And that is truly the best. If you're only doing an audio, then you're going to do a one want to do an M for a. Now, most players will be able to play M for a, but you may need to convert this at a later point to an mp3. So that converts into again, the universal audio file, you can create a gift so that it becomes an animation file. You can do an API or a Wi Fi which are lesser formats than the suggested a current html5 mp4 player.
So I go with that. We click Next. Now there's quite a few options inside of here. And you have controller, you want to probably produce with the controller, keep the size. Again, you want the 920 by 10 ADP. And when people embed this is the natural embed link that you want to have for an aspect ratio, this will be encoded inside of your smart player.
Again, these are all smart player options 30 frame rate keyframe every five seconds. Again, this is the encoding quality. So we have 60% that happens to be what works best for me and still keeping a great overall output as you can see even from here, and this is a preview mind you inside this portion of the docket and it usually reproduces at a lower quality. So our bit rate, you either want to do 128 or 256, I do 256. If we're going to encode in just an M for a Or an audio only feature. And then any of the options that you may want to add inside of here I have none.
We're going to click Next. Now, when it comes to any of these things, if you want to include a watermark again, it's very easy to do, you just click this option. Go inside, you can select your watermark, as you say, inside Camtasia Studio, you can go and select inside there, preview whatever your watermark is going to be. Select it, hit OK. Click Next. And now you can name your project. So I'm going to name it test project.
It's going to save to the desktop. That's what I want from my folder. And it's not only going to save my mp4, but it's also going to save all of these configuration files so that it makes it a smart player for html5. I'm going to go ahead and finish and now it will start rendering that project. And as you can see, my computer will slow down a little bit but it'll catch right back up Once it gets into a rhythm
