Okay, let's move into cursor effects. And there's something very important I need you to realize is that when you have a post edited project, something like this my basic editing walkthrough, this is an mp4. This is already done. It's not a trick or a dot TREC program. What that means is that it's been rendered, it doesn't have any of the encoding information that Camtasia recorder naturally allows you to add in post production and bring out for really enhancing your project. An example of that is the the cursor effects.
And the reason being is if you drag your cursor effect to here, nothing happens. You can see my cursors right there. I'm going to go ahead and zoom in on it, therefore you I drag in, add the highlights, nothing happened. So that's basically you know, just few tile right there. But if I take that, that media away, I go ahead and I add in One of my recent projects, that's a trick. Go ahead and over here.
We'll go ahead and fit this to size. And maybe you don't see where my cursor is at right now. That's quite all right. Because since it's a trek, now, when we drag this in, look how it turns or a green, and that turns yellow, there you go. We can add in a cursor spotlight, you know, we can do all these things that we need to, to make it stick out. As you can see, all these things are editable over here.
Here we're going to have maybe 100% opacity, or we're looking at 10% opacity, or, again, anything that you're looking at, over here we want 100 pix pixels, so it's going to be a large thing. We don't want that spotlight anymore. So all these things are going to again, help you in giving your presentation. Maybe you're teaching people, hey, you need to click here to sign up you need to do this you need to edit that whatever it is, this can help in present That more clearly to your audience. So that's what cursor effects are for, as well as letting people know when there's been a left click, or a right click scope. So I tend to make a left click a green, or a red circle.
And then I will actually take the other one, and I'll make it the opposite. So if it's one ring, and a right click would be multiple rings. And you can even see that how it shows up. So you just drag over any of these animate for anything from the animations to the behaviors. You just drag over your cursor and hover over. It'll show you everything that it's going to do.
So you don't need to drag this in, in order to see what will occur. It'll show you and again, I come in there I just clicked. So when I click, it goes off. And that's exactly what we're doing is just showing people when did I click left? When did I Click right what am I trying to do here? Can you follow my cursor, and that's going to be everything inside cursor effects that's going to help achieve that end goal.
