So in these next two lectures, I just wanted to show you a couple other websites where you might be able to list your business. And it's possible, you've just never heard of them. The first one is thumbtack. And basically, this site has a lot of authority, you'll find that, you know, even searching for services online, you'll find that a lot of the site a lot of the pages for thumbtack will rank even higher than a lot of regular business websites. So you can actually sign up as a pro on this account on this website for free. And basically, what will happen is if someone's looking for a particular type of service, you know what type of service you need.

So let's say I needed a carpenter, I could actually go out and put like a little description of what I'm looking for. And everyone out there that's actually sign up on the site that is able to do that work, will then get an email notification saying that I'm looking for work and they can then in turn bid on the on the job and you have to actually have what They call it I think it's a credit system you buy, you can buy the credits in bulk. So let's say you spend $50, you could then bid on a job, and you probably get to bid maybe four or five times for about 50 bucks. The other kind of good and bad part is, you know, it's kind of weeding out the people that are really not serious. But at the same time, you'll find that you are competing against other people.

So you'll pay money to bid on a job and you know, maybe someone else bids on that same job, and they're willing to do it cheaper, or maybe they've got better feedback on the platform, obviously, they could win the job over you. So really, it's same ideas, you know, you'd want to build a reputation on thumbtack, and over time, you could probably start bringing in significant amount of business, you know, if it's worth it to you to spend, you know, 10 bucks to bid on a job, and that in turn turns into a $500 job then, of course, it's worth it to you, you know, to spend a little bit of money here and there to try this out. But the system is very, very simple to use. You sign up as a professional They work out of every single state, it seems that they're getting bigger and bigger, bigger.

I really kind of like what they're doing but in the kind of downside of this site is obviously you do have to pay some money to bid on jobs. So that's something to keep in mind. You know, just wanted to throw this out there as they are seemingly a pretty good site to potentially find some new leads for your for your business.
