Thank you for joining me today on this video blog titled The power to be relentless. So three principles that I want to impart on how we can be relentless in everyday pursuits, particularly when pursuing a goal, a dream, an objective, or a project. So firstly, relentless is a determined state of mind. So we can be relentless by being determined and passionate and enthusiastic towards our goal. So to be relentless in the pursuit of an outcome, a goal a dream, we must have a determined will and a powerful conviction. And what that arises from is a powerful Why, why am I pursuing this?

Why am I doing this in the first place? What is my motivation? Why am I enthusiastic about pursuing this goal, this dream or objective, when you get down to the layers or get through the layers to the bottom piece of why you are motivated to do what you are doing, then success awaits you. The journey becomes the fulfillment of the goal. And doors begin to open because you are cutting through resistance, you are cutting through the layers of resistance that show up along the way in order to achieve your goal your ambition. So the second point is relentless means also being patient.

So sometimes life doesn't go as planned or our goals or our dreams or objectives may not show up as we expect or hope for. So to be patience, we practice infinite patience and that is we know that the journey will lead us to The fulfilment of our goal or objective, yet we bide our time and we strike when the time is right. I think that's really important for the relentless individual to strike when the time is right. So it means being patient because life circumstances won't play out is we hope for. And that's a really important component. Sometimes we have this perception in our minds that we need to take action, yet the relentless individual may often surveys surrounding survey his environment, and the time may not be conducive to take action.

Yet, when they sit back, retreat, survey the environment and see what is happening both within and externally, and then strike when the time is right. Then the fruit of their labor comes to fruition. So once again, that point is relentless means being patient and practicing infinite patience. And the last point is developing self mastery. And this is a personal favorite of mine. And that is every single day working on ourselves to develop self mastery to hone our skills to hone our passion, our expertise, our unique talents and a unique gifts in order to bring those to the world.

If we don't practice if we don't use deliberate practice, which is really important. So deliberate practice is practicing daily with intention. And in order to improve it also means deliberate practice practicing outside the comfort of our comfort zone. So for example, if you're a singer, you might practice the scales that you're unfamiliar with or you're not accustomed to, in order to hit different notes and different ranges. So it's To be world class, we need to be relentless in the pursuit of excellence and self mastery. And that can only come by sitting down daily, to practice our, our skill, and to master our skill.

So those who succeed work on the performance and expertise daily, and I'm reminded of the the artist who paints his Canvas every single day, I'm reminded of the writer, the author, who sits down to write the written prose every single day in the morning, or in the evening, wherever they can, is that honing in practicing putting their talents out there writing a blog writing articles, writing reports, journals, books, getting feedback from others getting feedback from their environment, from online seeing what works changing, and that's why it can take sometimes a decade, as Malcolm Gladwell reminds us 10,000 hours, which is equivalent to about 10 years of work. So there you go. Thank you for joining me today on this video blog titled The power to be relentless. I encourage you to be relentless in your pursuit of excellence in your pursuit of passion in your pursuit of becoming the best at whatever you do.

Thank you for joining me once again. I'm Tony factory.
