Blind Blake's, that'll never happen the more and we're going to start out and learns this the basic version of this if you listen while I was playing the demonstration I really skipped around a lot. I didn't play it in the order of the song I was just trying to play whatever came to mind and make sure I got all the different links in there. But here we'll slow it down and we'll start at the beginning. So he starts out over the G chord, he walks into it with an open fifth string, one two and then into our G and that's what he's playing over the one he's gonna go to a D That's what he's planning. He's gonna walk again again to the day he stays on the G. And he's gonna go to a D and then very quickly switch to an a long a two and a seven.

So let's play everything we have so far. That's the end of the first first part of it. I should say here that if you listen to the original, he's got a Keiko and he's playing. I think he's got the cable at the third fret, maybe even the fourth threat. I'm just showing you in regular g without the cable just to get the hang of this but you have to put a cape on. We'll talk about that here at the end of this lesson series.

So we got a G and then that tricky part is going to go very quickly from a D to A long as he stays on and then back to the day. And then right here you'll hear some variations in the picking. That's what Brian blank is so, so great at using the right first finger and his other fingers. plan something different almost every time around. He was amazing. But anyway, so that's kind of the first part. So let's play that again one more time through from the beginning. We're going to go to a seven D seven G. And then when he gets to that G, so it's a.

So we got the G, two g seven. We can do a couple different things here, we can play our turn around, which we'll learn and we can also just kind of go right back into the tune by briefly going to the D chord. So we do something like this. He does a lot of that throughout the Tim and he goes into the next verse or we can do this turnaround we can use the same turnaround we did and login or Something like that. So that's basically the the verses for blind or blind lakes. That'll never happen no more.

And what you have to do is learn the song because the song kind of structure changes throughout the song. And I'm just kind of playing what I think are the most commonly used phrases. Now there's this really cool turn around and there's also this great solo lick. And we'll work on those in the next next lecture.
