We're going to start by laying in the general shape of our fashion figures. To do that, create two sort of trapped soil shapes like so this will be the base of her torso and then off and they should tilt away from each other off the bottom trap zoid will come her leg softly curved to about where the knee would be. And another soft curve to the ankle. And on the inside, same thing in reverse soft curve and maybe less of a curve on the inside of her calf. Her other leg will be tucked behind her less of the curve on the inside and then down to her foot. Her neck should be positioned right above her center of gravity.

So in this case, she's balancing between her feet, her neck will be right above the center of her feet. And then draw a head kind of like so I give her more of an Angular draw, feel free to play with other shapes like a full circle or an oval. Glenda just drawn generally where her bust line would be. And that'll help us to find our shoulder. And I'm not drawing all little details. I'm just giving the indication of a hand but we don't have to draw the whole thing.

Here. I'm going to have her arm With a hand resting on the hip, here again, we don't really see the whole hand it's kind of tucked behind her. We just get the idea that it's resting on her hip. Going to erase the lines I don't need and that's our general figure one. And as you can see, if the hip is tilting down, I'm going to make the next figures hip tilting up. Just to give them a little more energy.

We're going to swing her foot forward like she's walking toward us. I'm going to tuck her other leg behind. Because all of her weight is probably on this foot. I'm going to draw her neck right above that point. Angular chin, rounded head. Maybe here we don't even see her other arm.

Maybe it's just tucked behind. Next figure, same idea. Feel free to draw just two or one if you're just getting started. And also definitely pause if you feel you need a little more time. There is no rush. This is all for fun All right, so now you have your general shapes.

Go back and erase anything that's not going to be necessary for the next step which is drawing on the fashions, fashion figures, clothing. Just your minimal outlines are good at this stage. And feel free to fine tune anything. That's not exactly how you want it. That's all in pencil. It's completely editable at this point.
