DESCRIPTION: Guilt is a powerful emotion. Guilt causes us to feel bad. When we feel bad, we often let people get away with things we normally would not because we feel as though our actions have put us in a place where we cannot confront others about their actions. When we hold on to guilt in our relationships we are not being honest, we are giving up our power, and tend to over question ourselves because of the guilt. We need to eliminate our guilt in order for us to step up and be the most honest version of ourselves.
When we feel guilt, we must ask ourselves, what are we feeling guilty about? Most of the time we are not happy at home or in our relationships. We tend to distract ourselves to escape this unhappiness. This distraction gets us even further off of the target that we should be concentrating on. Guilt is similar to brain fog.
