What form should your business be, and where should you sell? There are various forms of business that may work, depending on where you are in your business.

The easiest to form is a sole proprietorship. For most, you can just decide to be in business, and there you are. No licensing requirements and this form is simply an additional form or two on your personal tax return.

A partnership is another option if you will be working with someone in addition to yourself. Please consider this option carefully before proceeding.

A single-member LLC is an excellent and low-cost option as well.
