They say that Necessity is the mother of all inventions. This is true for the creation of purity. In the mid 1960s, the Mitsubishi Heavy Industry at Kobe shipyards Japan, was made to follow stringent government regulations for military vessels. These regulations were also in effect, due to the large capital expenditure required for building each ship. The Kobe engineers then drafted a matrix, which lined all the government regulations, critical design requirements and customer requirements to technical controlled characteristics of the company. Amongst those Kobe engineers, the creation of QA can be mainly attributed to Dr. Eugene a cow.
