DESCRIPTION: So now you have your mind completely empty. You want to take your mind map and break it down into similar themes. Get an assortment of coloured pens. You are going to make a coloured dot next to similar themes. So you might like to start by choosing five colours. Choose one colour per theme.

So if my book was about Green tea, I might have a section on serving green tea and everything in that section, I colour in red. Ideas about flavours, such as green tea and jasmine might all be in green. You get the idea. What you are creating is chapters and sub-headings to go into each chapter. Once they all have a colour, list them out under what you want to call the chapter. So chapter one - Why drink green tea? Sub-headings - The health benefits of green tea, Relaxation with green tea.
Once you have them all listed you can give the book a form and move them around. You never have to start a book at the beginning. Often one of these chapters or subheadings will speak to you first. Start...
