If the world keeps unfolding in the direction it is going, what will be needed in that time? Once you have your book idea, project it to what will be needed in the future. That way not only can your book speak on the world as we know it, but it can also start to have an influence on the shape of the future. Now there’s a thought! There have been amazing books way ahead of their time, like George Orwell’s 1984 for example. In writing a book you have the opportunity to inspire someone’s way of thinking and you never know what shifts can take place in the world.
