DESCRIPTION: If you want to apply, say, an address block at the foot of every page, maybe with a logo, the best place to put it is on the master pages. Then it will appear on all the pages to which that master has been applied. You can have as many master pages as you want, and apply them wherever you want. You can even apply the 'none' master page, which can't hold any information at all, to pages where you don't want any master elements to appear.
