In this segment we're going to look at the benefits of breathing. Research has shown there's many, many benefits to doing breath work, but just to name a few. Physically, we see our blood pressure coming down, our heart rate coming down. Our breath is lengthening and deepening, our nervous system relaxes. We see pain is modulated, whether it's physical pain, emotional pain, mental or financial relational pain. We also see improvements in sleep and digestion, and improvements in our mobility and our flexibility.

Mentally speaking, research has shown that breathing and breath work helps to improve memory and learning, concentration and judgment, discernment and focus, and it helps you to become more creative. If you have a project that's due whether it's at home or at work, you may want to try Taking a simple few breaths. Emotionally speaking, we see that breathing and breath work helps to lower the bouts of depression helps to manage stress. It helps with anxiety disorders and panic attacks, lowers the symptoms of post traumatic stress disorder, and there's an emergence of feeling much more positive and productive, more hopeful and optimistic. And spiritually speaking, breathing and breath work brings this wonderful sense of peace and calmness to the spirit as well as the soul
