Hi guys, Max Jacobs here and welcome to this lesson called launch. Now the purpose of this lesson is to finalize your business launch date, this lesson is important because not only set the date but completely break down what has to happen together. Ideally, you'll have set a date, and the steps required to achieve that date. So let's get into it. So some of the common problems and frustrations out there that I see is that people just don't have a start date. You know, we, we know we want to play the game, but just haven't set a start date.

We don't we're not sure when we're starting this game. The second thing is that people are just all talk. They're just constantly talking about all the ideas that they have about this idea and this idea, and how good would be if I did this, and I'm going to do this, and I'm going to do this, but they just never take action. They're constantly telling people about their ideas, but never taking action. The third thing is that they've just got no direction that they're always having to get their phone out to Google what to do next. And ultimately, they just I just never start.

They're always Like just letting time pass by. And most people work a job they don't like to the majority of their life that also is the number of people who do this. But they also come up with cool business ideas, but never act on them, no matter how good they do that fear of failure. So I'm going to tell you one really important thing, and that is that you need to take action. Don't be that person. Don't be that person that just never started, always talks to talk but never walks the walk.

You don't want to let the fear finally get in your way of actually taking that first step and taking action. So don't be that person. So what do you get out of this course, what you'll get out of this lesson is you're going to have set a date, or you're going to you're going to have set a date on what it is that you're launching your business. The next thing is you're going to have actionable steps to get there. We're going to set it down we're going to break it down into actionable steps and milestones so that you, you know what you need to do to achieve that set that is also going to have a clear path and it's going to be lucky you lying down a plank of wood in In a field, you're gonna, you're gonna understand that that's the path you need to go along to make it happen.

And at the end the day, it's gonna be, it's falling gonna happen, and it's gonna feel like it's finally happening, you're starting to surf the waves learning and growing and your business and as a person, as, there's literally nothing more exciting than launching your dream business, or any business for that matter. It's just something about going out on your own and being your own boss that I absolutely love and, and completely bind to. And I know you're gonna love it as well. So that being said, Why is this important to you from everything I've just talked about? What's that? What's been the number one thing that's just stood out, so I'd love you to write that thing down.

Keep it in the back of your mind as we go through the rest of this lesson. So let's get through the key principles. The first principle is launch date. So the essence of this principle is the United set a launch date, and the sooner this launch date is, the more you'll be forced to take action to to get the wheels in motion. Ideally, you want to you want to set a date, then Everyone, so essentially, always burn your boat or burn your bridges. So there's no turning back, you've got absolutely no option but to take action and to make it happen.

So we want that we want to force massive action by making you making yourself accountable. So once you've said that day, I want you to tell everyone you know, your friends, your family, tell everyone in the in the Facebook group, tell everyone you know, what it is that you're doing, what you're what you're about to start and when that launch date is that you're kept accountable. So there's a worksheet below that'll help you with this. It's called the launch date worksheet. So let's get on to the second principle. And this is eyes on the prize.

So this is about determining your revenue goals that you can easily break down exactly what it is required, we actually have to do to actually achieve that revenue goal. It's a very simple, very simple model, very simple worksheet that you'll be completing below. It'll help you keep your eyes on the prize by breaking it down as simply as possible, really putting things into perspective. So the third principle is break it down. So we want to break it down a lot with breaking down toggle would swing here in the photo. It's about taking your angle and breaking, breaking that down into manageable steps and milestones that are actionable.

So that we actually we know that the path you're on and we know where we have to get to leading up to that launch date. So it's important to, to make those steps actionable, make them smart, make them specific, make them measurable, and make them achievable, realistic and time bound. It's really important to, to put a time constraint on it to take, take, take Parkinson's Law into into account where we, we, we really shrink the time constraints, which forces ourselves to get it done. So I'll be a couple of worksheets below that will really help you break this down. And the first worksheet I want you to complete is called the dream calculator spreadsheet. And you'll find that below.

And then I want you to also fill out the again the launch date worksheet. So the next principle, the last principle is future goals. So this is all about getting your goals for the future, the end goal being the amount of money you need to live the life you want, and then breaking it down from there. So what I'm going to do now is I'm going to draw a diagram to help explain this principle. So that diagram is called the goal setting pyramid. So bear with me while I get out the iPad.

Okay, so here we go. So this is called the goal setting pyramid. So this is very simple model that you can that you can really get a good understanding of how it is that you're going to set your future goals and break it down from there. So what we've got here is a pyramid. And within this pyramid, we're gonna have a number of steps, a number of areas that we need to focus on to take action in to actually get the results. So at the top of the pyramid, we've got our ultimate goal and that goal is every Revenue goal.

So let me draw a box for that. And underneath that, there's going to be two things that we need to do two critical things that we need to do in order to actually reach that revenue goal. And those things are sales and leads. And in order to achieve those things underneath that we have some other areas that we need to focus on and take action in. And, and view it might be different because your business will be different but generally speaking, and we've got a revenue goal at the top we've got underneath we need to focus on sales and leads, then under that need to focus on networking at a focus on actual action Calling calling people need to focus on marketing campaigns. That's right, that is see.

And underneath that, we've got a number of other things that we also need to focus on. Again, this this, this could be slightly different to the things that you need to focus on but you get the point. So it's, it's important to go through this exercise by yourself, draw a pyramid, or triangle and draw, you know, all of these all these squares are we got we got 10 squares, so draw 10 1010 areas that you need to focus on and take action in. So down the bottom, we've got we could be going to, you know, to in order to network, we need to be on a meetups. It'll be it'll be gone to events. which relates to making the calls as well you go to an event you go to a meetup, you get to know as yet people to call, we, you know, we need to, we do need to set up a Facebook page or a social media platform to, to start from some sort of foundation.

And you also might need a website. As you can see that we've, we've worked from the top down, we started at a revenue goal, we've completely broken it down into the the key, the critical areas that you need to focus on to take action in. So with everyone, no matter what your businesses, you're gonna have your revenue goal, and you need to focus on sales, and late sales and marketing. And the other ones may change may be different might have some more important things you need to do some less important ones, but as you can see, we've we've got the 10 the 10 key areas that you need to focus on. So I'd love you to do it. draw a diagram like this for yourself and work them in and post That to the Facebook group, you know, take a photo of it posted to the Facebook group.

And that's pretty much it for that that model. So let's let's get back to the the the PowerPoint. Okay, so let's let's just summarize all the principles that we just went through. So the first principle was launch date. So the essence of these principles that you need to set a launch date, simply put, you have to have set a launch date, and you need to start taking action straightaway. We need to set a launch date and make yourself a cannibal.

Tell everyone what that launch date is. So everyone that day that you're going to be starting your dream business and really make yourself accountable tell everyone you know, your friends, your family, your friends and family pretty much Burn burn all the bridges to actually full massive action. The second principle is eyes on the prize. So this is about determining your revenue goals that you can easily break down exactly what's required to to achieve it. So you'll be you'll be completing the your number worksheet below. We also want to break it down.

Pretend you bragging and toggled swinging. Are you bright Dan, you're on golf swing, you want to break it down into manageable steps that are actionable. So to help you do this, you know, filling out the again the launch that worksheet, and also filling out the dream calculator spreadsheet. And the last principle is future goals. This is about setting your goals for the future, using that goal setting pyramid that we went through. And really using that that top that top goal revenue goal as as the amount of money you need to live the life you want, and then breaking it down, down from there working at every single thing that you actually need to do to make that happen.
