Ayurveda is called the science, or wisdom of life. This is a holistic system of healing and living. It is from this ancient knowledge that you can learn about your specific bodily makeup, or constitution (dosha) and how to bring your life back into balance in order to maximize physical, emotional, and mental health and well-being.
Only by truly living in harmony with the rhythm of life can we improve our health on all levels. Ayurveda also shows us how food, thoughts, actions, beliefs, habits, and people influence us at all times. It teaches us to be more mindful of our behavior in the world and, if we learn and respect these ancient teachings, we can live a balanced, happy, and fulfilling life with peace and harmony at all times.
