Transcript

Hi, welcome to Amazon moneymaker in this series, I'm going to walk you through exactly how to pick a product on Amazon, all the way to doing your keyword research and creating your website and marketing your product from Amazon and making lots of money. So why would you want to use Amazon to do your product research? Well, in this video, I'm going to show you exactly why. And the main reasons the basis for this is that you can go on Amazon and find out exactly, you know, what something costs, how much it's rated. You can look at the reviews. All these things are important to customers, when they buy, they look at the ratings, they look at the reviews.

So if you have something that's rated well and reviewed well, and runs a good enough price, you're gonna make money, then you pretty much have a guarantee that if you can get the right eyes in front of this, you're going to make money with it. So what are those filters? What are the requirements, we like to make sure that when we're promoting a product from Amazon, that it's got at least a three and a half stars. rating or above. And that's simply for conversions. If it's got a three and a half star rating or above, that means it's a quality product.

That means somebody bought it, they've rated it, and now other people are going to see that and buy it. We also want to have at least 10 reviews. And we want those reviews to be positive. People are going to come in, they're going to read these reviews, if there's no reviews, people are likely to not buy. If there are reviews, that means people have bought, they've rated it, they've they've reviewed it, and then other people are going to see that they're going to read those reviews, and then they're likely to buy, okay, people use websites like this to decide what they should buy based on the consumer experience. And the last criteria is that Amazon essentially pays out a 4% commission for any newbie, okay, so when you first create your account, Amazon's gonna pay you a 4% Commission.

Okay, so what's going to happen is as you go, that can machine is going to rise as you start to sell more products, your commission structure and your scale will rise. Okay, so after you sell six products, Amazon is going to go from a 4% to a 6%. commission, okay, and then they're going to incrementally go up a half a percent as you continue to sell more products. So the sky's the limit here. But when you first start out, it's going to be 4%. So that's what I'm going to speak to in this video.

And in this training, that way, everybody's on the same page. Now, if you've already been selling on Amazon, you've made more money and you've sold more products, then obviously, you're you're making more than 4%. So everything you use in here is just going to make you even more money. Okay, so it doesn't matter if you're a 4% or if you're an 8%. This is going to work. So, the criteria we're going to use for this is that the product be at least $250.

Okay, if the products $250 then that guarantees that you'll make a minimum of $10 per product for sale. So that may sound a little difficult and daunting. But if you think about it, these products we've already got our filters in, okay, people are already buying them, we know that, that typically means people are going to continue to buy it, they're rated well, under a good price, you're gonna make money. So it's a win situation for everybody. So once again, three and a half star rating, at least 10 reviews and $250 or more. Okay, so what you want to do is here on amazon.com, you're going to come to the full store directory.

Here you can choose from a multitude of different categories, okay. So notice I said the minimum is $250 is what you want the price to be. Now you can find products on here that are you know, thousands of dollars, you can you can find an appliance and you can find refrigerators. Okay, now like to stay away from that type of stuff. Because, you know, Why Does somebody want to buy an appliance online, when they could just go down to the local hardware store or local hardware supermarket basically, and you know, pick out what they want, have somebody bring in, deliver it, set it up and everything. So, you know, I like to stay kind of in the range of, you know, over $250, but something that people are actually going to most likely buy online.

So let's say that we wanted to find something online. Let's say we wanted to go to camera, photo and video. Let's try that electronics and computers. Let's do point shoots. Awesome. Okay, so a couple criteria we need to filter by.

Let's scroll down here to price and do $250 and click Go. Okay, so that's going to give us 252 minimum price. And then we could come down here and let's scroll down and select the star rating of three stars and now it only goes three and four, we want three and a half to three stars and up. Okay, so from here we can see a bunch of different products. We could see the rating here, we could also see the price. And then we could also look down here and parentheses and see the actual customer reviews.

Okay, so we've got 146 232 79 Okay, so let's take this right here. It's 146 reviews. It's got a 3.6 out of five stars that meets our criteria. And it's $363 and 99 cents. So let's click on this guy. This pulls up the product So what we're going to do is pull over our Notepad.

We'll actually just start taking this information down and adding it to our Notepad. So let's double click scroll over it. Alright. It's called copy this. Paste that. Paste the name then we'll copy the URL.

Paste the URL. See here 363 99 that's the price. And then the rating. Please It was 3.6 out of five in the reviews we saw that ad 146 customer reviews Awesome. Okay, so now we've got the title of our product, or the name of our product, we've got the URL that we can easily go back and reference we get the price, the rating, and the number of reviews. Okay, so the action step is going to be to find 10 products total for nine more than this, you're going to get all this information, bring it over to Notepad.

And then in the next video, I'm going to I'm going to take it to the next step. So remember the criteria three and a half stars, or more $250 or more in at least 10 reviews, and you'll be good to go. Okay, so find 10 more, these are 10 total. And then I'll see you in the next video.
