All right, so the first thing that I want to talk about is really what's known as citation. SEO and citation SEO simply broken down. I want to make this as easy as you can as I can for you because it's not like normal SEO when it comes to citations. In this part portion, we're going to be focusing on n. a. p, like what's nap, well now, short for and this is the most important part of everything in a citation. If you don't have the NTP working correctly, then basically it's all for naught. That's the unfortunate thing.

So the NTP is extremely important. That stands for name, address and phone So, when I talk about name, address and phone, these things, there's a lot of data that different companies and business listings can accept from you from videos, pictures, business descriptions, categories, you know, owner names, years, they were founded in all types of stuff, just so many myriads of options. But the NAEP is really all that Google is going after that needs to match. And when I say match, I mean when your name and I've had this before, say we take someone like, you know, burger boys, and with the Oh, there is an accent mark over it. That accent mark is extremely vital right there. All right, if that accent mark is not spelled the same, or sometimes some companies they can't take this different characters, and most should because it's just an ACS double.

I encoding. So it's really something that should be universal UTC. But some don't. And if that's the case, then just having that little point off, even a period, even shortening, that is going to be a difference in the end, AP the name, and it's going to instantly go, Google's not going to count it, that's the basic gist of it, it's going to break down where they're going to go. Now that's not the same must not be the same. They may have the same address, they have the same phone, but it's not the same name.

It has to be an exact match. And this is all for your benefit. And maybe Google will lighten up on these, you know, pretenses in the future, but don't count on it. Don't count on it, just let it be as it is get everything as much as you can. So beforehand, you need to make sure can a lot of the other websites I'm gonna be sending this into, can they, you know, handle this encoding Could I copy and paste this in Will it work? So if it does, then that's great.

And I'm going to show you tools that you can use to reference and check if the your na peas are correctly listed or if something is wrong, what needs to be corrected. So you'll have tools to address all these things. And most of the tools, of course, are paid tools, there aren't really too many free tools that do this. And if they're free, they do it only really to the top 10 or 12 directories, they're not doing it to every single one that's out there and, you know, plus some. So when it comes through, if it's like burger toys, you know, lt D, and it has a period, you need to include that period, that period is important. If it doesn't have a period doesn't need a period.

If it's all if it you know, limited all spelled out dah, dah, dah, dah, then it needs to be limited for voice limited or gross Ltd, whatever it is. You need to have that exact match. I just I want to nail that down because it's so vital, so important. And this is like no 99% of the oops are mistakes or typos, we need to create another listing or we can't go back or just comes from these three steps. So make sure you get this right. However you write down when it comes to the address, you know, so you got 411.

You know, it's highway, two dash, you know, to a, and I'm telling you, if that highway has a little mark with a period, you need to include that. And normally, I like to go by what Google Maps would naturally include for similar or close areas. However, it's spelled there, I probably want to do the same. And that's as simple as it goes. So whatever usually, Google Maps is suggesting is where you should go. Of course, you can always customize it and tell them like no, I want to be known as highway spelled out.

411 Highway two dash To a and that to a, I've had companies that are like that, you know, it's not just, it's a certain part of a highway or it's an exit of a highway or things like that. And that's important to you, whether it's a dash, or whether it's a period or whether it's just a space, all these things matter, I mean, every single mark that you can have, and then when it finally comes down to the phone number, you know, you may have 811 Let's see, what is it? Three and then four, I think it is getting it mixed up. Whoops. But anyways, so all it is, is when you enter this phone number in the dashes that you have right here that that dash matters even more, so these little boxes right here. Are you going to have it like that, or are you going to remove these and you're just gonna have it you know, like this with another dash again.

That dash matters. And then all together if you're in a different area code, you know, I know that country codes matter sometimes, especially if you want to be International. And it's like, Hey, we do SEO, but we do it for everybody. You got to have that plus, you know, for one, or whatever your country code is, and then do you want to include that in brackets. And, you know, all of this matters the exact way that it's entered in, and even some of Google's suggestions you should take, oftentimes, they're going to establish a country code ahead of time for you, but also at the same time, how they display your phone number is how it should be displayed elsewhere. So that's what this is all about, is right here, the NAEP every single thing inside of this matters.

Now when it comes to, you know, this huge plethora of other things that can be going on. I mean, you have, like I said, description owner names when it was founded keywords just 1001 unique things, they go in this box, they can always be different. They can always be changing Google understands they all these things are probably going to change, you know, you may have the way that your foundation moves or you know if it changes owners or things like this, but the things that almost never change are your names, where you're located, and your phone number. Now, here's the other thing. If you do happen to move somewhere, then what you need to do is obviously, re verify with a postcard. And guess what, you have to do this whole process all over and change that address everywhere to make sure it matches up.

Because when you do that move, they need to know that still you That's correct. You know, we're verifying all these addresses, because these ntps this is what makes all the rankings so accurate, because they're catching on to just the one core criteria that people need. Am I looking at the right business? Where's it located? What's the phone number? Now probably next thing is if they're in the mobile phone, give me directions.

That's all people really need to know. And then of course, they're going to show you know, your reviews at the bottom, and are you five stars, etc. But that's a secondary notion at the main point, just getting your NAEP your citations all properly together, your SEO is going to boost up your domain, your trust factor is going to go up because Google's verifying, yes, you are who you say you are. You're located where you say you are, and we can get ahold of you the way you say you are. All those things matching up instant trust factor. Trust is the only reason that Google ranks certain websites over others.

Does some of the top 10 pages offer crap material? Yes, they do. But they have a large trust factor because there's a lot of people going to them, spend time on them sharing some of the things and the stories. I mean, that's how to fake the fake news networks like the onion gets their stories published so well and they go viral. Oftentimes it's kind of funny to see. But it's all because of that trust factor and ntps are a big trust factor in Google's eyes when it comes to rankings for local businesses.
