Now we're gonna focus on the culture of the organization. The culture has a massive impact as you as a leader or a manager. Now in the additional materials which are situated in this unit, we're going to look at a case study your child handy God's management model. Now, in this model, it says that there are four different cultures that any organization would split into. That's a role based culture, a task based culture, a power culture, and more of a person culture. Now, what's interesting is you as a leader, now need to adapt your style to suit the culture or you need to change the culture to try to you now that in itself is going to bring out complete range of different change management skills that you need to then optimize to maintain what you're trying to achieve.
I mean, let's just think about it. If you are a transformational leader with more people charisma and not size style is going to be very hard to adopt that into a power, or a very more autocratic style of culture, you're going to struggle, you're going to hit those different barriers. And this is what this model really goes into more understanding how you adapt, you know, you can't just change your leadership style into this really rigid culture from day one, you need to adapt and change over style in itself. Or you need to look at the fundamentals of the culture, in order what to do and how to grow and change in itself. Now, like I said, that goes into more change management, which is going to be a different course, within the bright thing program. And it's the same, what if you're now trying to bring in a bit more structure and organization and transactional leader in an organization which is currently more task or person based, you're really going to struggle.
So this is about you know, understanding how you're going to adapt to suit the culture and this Which is already in the organization. You know, some models, which you might want to look at in this section are actually a SWOT analysis, which looks at your strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats to understanding a little bit more about Porter's five forces, what's happening in the marketplace, and how you can adapt that to bring into your organization. So do make reference to the PowerPoint slides in the voiceover because that's going to be the key understanding into how you adapt your leadership style to suit the culture or how you're going to change the culture, then adapt more into leadership styles.
