So welcome to the first video on transformational versus transactional leadership. Now transformational leadership is one of my favorite styles. This is where as a leader, you will embed more coaching and development to really bring in enhance out the person or the people in your team. Very often a lot of people consider this to be more charismatic leadership, you know, when a leader would develop their own charisma and style to persuade the team do certain thing. Now, transactional leadership is a style of leadership in which you're going to be more targets focus key performance indicator focus, to really bring out the best through set results, let's just say. So you can see that there's two very different styles of leadership taking place here.

And what I'd like you to start to do now is to write down the two transactional versus transformational and start to think about your own personality and which one you are very Often a leader is more one or the other. However, very often, it's also important for a leader to switch between the two depending on the situation. And that's something we're going to look at later on within this particular results based outcome. Now on these two different styles of leadership, I also want you to look at the additional resources made available to you, because there is some keynote slides with voiceovers explaining more about the different styles and what they actually mean. And how can you understand the best out of these two different styles of leadership and bring them into your workplace.
