So now we're gonna focus on China's cultural leadership. Now this is something that I've spent a lot of time researching myself. Chinese cultural leadership is where you get to understand more about different cultures and people's mindsets, and then use that to bring out the best in the company, maybe in the workplace, or to help drive the company to new markets and new destinations. I mean, when you think about it, every single culture is completely different. So very often, you would need a very strong leader to understand the different cultures and the different mindsets and to bring them together. I often think transcultural leadership is a really great leadership style to sort of break down conflict within the team as well.
It's worthwhile noting that down for as we go through the rest of the units, attracts cultural leadership just requires that skill of lateral thinking and be able to brainstorm with the team ways in which they can solve a problem or bring out new ideas into the business. As you know, very often when you think of a problem, you've always solved it the same way. So understanding different cultures, ways of thinking will bring in a different perspective, or a way to resolve the problem. So that kind of wonky skills you could use this transcultural leadership styles do. But really, you know, getting to understand the culture within your organization creates that more diverse workforce, which I think then goes into more motivation, innovation. And obviously, if you're in a period of growth in your organization, then understanding the market in which you're moving into also requires a distinct set of transcultural skills.
Now, there are two really good examples of transcultural leadership, who are going to be within the additional resources as case studies. Indra Nooyi was once the CEO of Pepsi Cola, and she drove the company through her own transcultural styles of leadership, we've had five steps approach, and again, we'll look at that within the case study towels. Go with the CEO of Renault Nissan. Now as a trans cultural leadership, he brought this very French company into a Japanese market. I understood they had to change the mindsets of the managers in order for the company to work more effectively within Japan in regards to the way it was working back in France. So do check out those different leadership styles within this section as well and really start to understand the importance of transcultural leadership is a way of driving innovation forward and also as a way of stopping conflicts from happening within the business.
