Okay, in this section we will merge the three parts of the hair into one geometry. To do that, we make some more adjustments on the basic shape of the hair before we merge them together. So take your time to match the best you can to the reference. The first thing we need to do is to add subdivision lovers to each part of the hair until we don't get a smooth result and we don't like it. For example, in this case, the fourth level of subdivision is the best and that has the smoothest result. Okay, now on the smaller parts three level is enough to In the subtle menu, I need to reorganize the objects of it to be below each other.
Okay, as you can see, we have some errors on the hair, but with the infant rash, we can adjust it easily. With the move brush, I can push it in into the base of the hair. And now we corrected this part. Now it's time to save. Before we merge any objects together, I recommend to save your project because as you can see, the breast says to us that merging is not enough. They will operation now we have the three objects merged, but the geometry is separated.
Now we will use the Dynamesh feature of ZBrush Dynamesh basically merge together the objects and and they will have one topology as you can see with the basic resolution we have naturally smooth result. And now you can smooth out the parts where the two geometry merging. Here as you can see we have a really messy area where the two geometry meets and we have a brush called dem standards. This damn standard brush helps us to Make these more detailed and more stronger lines into the mesh and with that we can make deeper separation. All right, we smooth out this part with the smooth brush. And with the Damien standard we can stronger this geometry detail and now it will smooth out the bigger parts what we do like now as you can see with Dynamesh we have a massive topology.
So we will xiri my sheet set the target polygon to 0.1. So to the lowest amount anted, zero measure. Okay, now we have a more simpler geometry but the color is disappeared because we have a wall different geometry so we need to reattach this hair color from the reference. To do that as we now we need to turn on the spotlight ring and we just see we can pick the color from the reference and in the color menu, we can click on the fill object. Okay now turn back the black color And feel the eyebrows with that color too because as you can see it is not attached to the eyebrows and to the mouth either. So feel object and we select the mouth and feel object again.
All right, we, we this part of the hair we have a little problem. So we need to adjust it. We can use the insert, brush the move brush and and you can try out this move elastic brush, which is a little bit harder move than the standard move rush This good in this case we can turn on the Accu curve function to have more spiky details on one more subdivisions and it is now the time to playing with the shape until we don't like the result. Smooth out the bottom. Inflate that on the bottom parts and now with this part we want more spiky detail okay Now with the dem standard, we want to have detail on this part. So now we will use this lazy mouse feature what I mentioned in the basics we need to set this laser I'd use for about 30.
And now we can make these moves or lines. It is like if you put a rope on a rock and and pull it in the sand on the beach you will have a more smoother lines. All right now we have a little topology error here. So we try to build up the part from different sides until it no match to the reference. Now we snap it back behind and with the move brush, fix it. Okay, now it's time to playing with the shapes again and try to match the round of the shape and the curves what you can see on the reference to have this cartoony style elements.
Here we can use the claybuildup brush, in some cases, if we want to build up some geometry to some parts. Now save our project again. In the next section we will merge the head base together.
