About the Class
For the most part, it can be said that all scholarly academic articles include a literature review. Yet, this challenging part of writing is difficult. The literature review establishes that the writer(s) have knowledge and authority on the topic of the article. The literature review also serves to provide a framework for readers to contextualize the content of the article. In this lesson, there is an opportunity to understand how to prepare to write, and how to write a concise but engaging literature review.
