When it comes to social psychology is a subfield of psychology, we have three main parts, and those are social painting, social influence, and social relations. In this version of course, we will cover social thinking and social influence, personality psychology, focus on the person. It study the personal traits and dynamics that explain why different people may act differently in a given situation. While social psychology focused on this situation, it's study the social influence that explain why this person will act differently in different situations. Our social behavior arises from our social cognition, especially when the unexpected of cures, we want to understand and explain why people act as they do. After studying how people explain others behavior.

Fritz heider proposed an attribution theory which says, we can attribute the behavior to the person stable enduring which is a difference positional attribution or we can attribute it to the situation which is a situational attribution. For example, in class we notice that jr seldom talks over coffee. Jeff talks nonstop. It must be the sort of people they are we decide Juliet must be shy, and jack outgoing, such as attributions to their dispositions can be well in because people do have enduring personality traits. But sometimes we fell prey to fundamental attribution error. Yes, we overestimated the influence of personality and underestimate the influence of situations.

In class jack may be as quiet as Juliet, catch Juliet at a party and you may hardly recognize your quiet classmates. Have you ever noticed how one example good or bad can prompt others to follow? How when a legally parked car can give permission to others to do likewise, social psychologies? great lesson is the enormous power of story. influence this influence can be seen in our conformity, our obedience to authority and our group behavior, suicide bomb practice, airplane hijacking, and UFO sighting. All have a curious tendency to come in clusters on campus geez our desk code on York's Wall Street or London's Bond Street dresses are the norm.

When we know how to act, how to groom how to talk, like functions smoothly armed with social influence principles, advertisers, fundraisers and campaign workers. In this way our decisions to buy to donate to work isolated with others who share their grievances. This centers me gradually become rebels and rebels me become terrorists. third part is, as we said social relations and who will just mention it. Social relation is all about how we think about and influence one another. It is social psychologists third parties how relates to one another, what causes us to harm or to help work fall in love?

How can we move a destructive conflict toward just ease? We will ponder the bad in the good from prejudice and aggression to attraction altruism in peacemaking. So if you find any interesting work listening in this briefing, join us click enroll and see me in the course.
