DESCRIPTION:
Overhead: Let's Get Started!

First step: preparing for overhead is key. The first thing you’re going to want to do is to turn from the waist and get your shoulders perpendicular to the oncoming ball. Change to your service grip. A service-slice grip recommended.
Racket preparation: With your shoulders perpendicular to the ball Use your offhand to track the ball as it is lobbed over you. This will allow for the best positioning. Make sure your hitting hand Is up high roughly Eye-level as you track the ball.
During contact: Like in every stroke in tennis Balance is so important. Keeping your head up, back straight and wide stance as you smash through the ball.
After contact: As the ball rapidly leaves your strings, unlike the volleys, you want a solid follow-through. You will need to maintain good posture and a still head all the way through. The racket should finish below the waist on the opposite side.

Summary points:

Track the oncoming ball by pointing your racket at it
