Hello guys welcome to Part Number Four of using the wrong preposition. Mistakes are often made by using the wrong preposition after certain words. This lesson includes the words which most often and give travels. So, here we are going to understand and check out many common mistakes that many English students and foreign students make using the wrong preposition. Try to understand these mistakes, focus, I want you to correct your mistakes. Understand the mistakes you're making.

Are you ready? Let's start. Number 31. Writing ink not with nk Okay, so don't say I have written the letter with ink. This is not correct. This is Wrong.

Say I have written the letter in ink okay. In ink. So we use in when we are referring to the final work. The drawing was done in charcoal, Dora writes her letters in green ink. But when we are referring to the instrument used we use web. Like for example the children are learning to write with pen.

Helen refers to paint with a thin brush. This is a difference between in and with. So don't make these common mistakes. Next one is failing not from this is another common mistakes students make when they are speaking about exams. Don't say Ted failed from math last year? No, no, no, no, this is wrong.

Say Ted failed in math. Last year. This is a correct form. Number 33. Full of not with or from. Full of.

So don't say the jar was full with or from oil. This is not correct say that jar was full of oil. That jar was full of oil. Filled takes with so we can say Jane filled the glass with water. So we use the preposition with with Phil and off with fall. Number 34 in we use in for months and years not at or on.

So don't say it's my birthday on July. Now say it's my birthday in July. You can always use n for months and years for example like graduated in 1990. I changed my job in August but we use on four days. See you on Wednesday. So we use on four days and we use in for moms and years.

Next one is glad about not from or with so don't say Ted was glad from or away the receiving your letter. Say Ted was glad about receiving your letter. This is a correct next common mistake that many students make in many classes. This is very common. Good at not M. So don't say my sister is good in math say my sister's good at math. We are good at something.

We also say bad at clever at quick at slow at etc however weak in For example, He is weak in grammar or he's good in class when we say he's good in class it means that his conduct is good. Okay? This is a difference between good in and good at number 37 tired of not from we don't say tired from so don't say the boys are tired from eating boiled eggs say the boys are tired of eating boiled eggs. Tired of. Next one is satisfied with not from satisfied with the preposition for satisfy is with because some students maybe they think in their own native language they say from and this is not correct. So don't say Are you satisfied from your marks say Are you satisfied with your marks?

Are you satisfied with your marks This is a correct form. We can also say content with delighted with unhappy with happy with, displeased with satisfied with and disgusted with we use these actually preposition with these verbs Next one is independent of not from don't say Claire's independent from her parents. No No this is wrong say Claire's independent of her parents. So we use the preposition of for independent, don't use from or other purposes and this is wrong. We can also say dependent on for example, a child is dependent on its parents child is dependent on its parents. And the last common mistake here in this lesson is married to not with married to, not with so don't say he's married with CAM This is not Correct say he's married to Kim.

You're always married to or you get married to someone, however, you just marry someone. Okay, we understood lots of great mistakes done by many English and foreign students. Guys, you need to understand your mistakes you need to correct them in order to improve your English in order to improve your communication both in writing and speaking
