In this section, we're going to talk about some different terms and the importance of your son comp and understanding how to create that most effectively. So first of all, I'm doing this course course using as many just standard English words as I can. But being a tantric practice, there are many Sanskrit words that come into play. So I'm including a list of those in the supplementary material. But here, I just want to quickly go through some of them with you. So you get a feel and an idea for them if you're not already familiar.

So one of the words is simply own at the beginning and end of some of the recordings of yoga nidra I use this mantra own and maybe you've heard it before. Maybe you're familiar with what it is and maybe not all his thoughts. To be the actual sound of creation, the initial sound on with the O, N, O, or O, which is the AU and au are the three sound three make as we're exhaling out the breath. They've done some studies with the sounds of mantras creating, they're actually the verbal expression of a visual image. So if you make the own sound, and you have like the vibrating machine, it will actually create a specific mantra, and this one is the Sri Yantra. The Creator and the Sri Yantra is basically the emergence of nine triangles that are Meeting in the center which is masculine and feminine, combining and very significant to the creative act.

So there's all and then there is at the end of your practices, potty on tech that how do you type that is one of those Maha mantras. Maha means the Great. So it's a great mantra usually at the close of the practice, in that very deep state is just acknowledging the sacredness of the practice, acknowledging it's basically you are in that, that you are, and that is what you are. It's really getting into the depth of a kind of an esoteric description of that place that we're touching that super conscious state owning that. That is what you are. That is what we're touching and just saying own to that hottie is often thought to be a term for the divine.

That refers to truth. So it's also really just tuning into the truth of this. On to the truth of this on to you are the truth. The truth is the essence of you. And there's many, many translations, some of which I've included below but it's really just that we've come to the conclusion of a practice on you are this truth that we speak of, that we're accessing through this practice. And then we have the word chakra which we're visiting in a later lecture chakras referring to the energy centers that are situated along with spinal cord and we get into that in more depth In the chakra section, and then each of the different specific chakras, starting with Moolenaar at the base of the spine all the way up to czar at the top, and the different chakras that are in between those are also listed in your reading.

And then we have, there's a few more listed, but we'll jump right to some kalpa. Some help is very important for all the practices we will be doing. The later last about four, I create a specific tsongkhapa for you to work on specific issues with it's kind of a universal uncomfort choice. But for the first seven practices, you will need to create your own tsongkhapa. So it's like alpha is a resolve or an affirmative statement. And it's really potent because you are accessing the fertile soil of the subconscious mind through these practices and so initially may choose a very surface level son culpa, but the task is to get to your real son culpa.

There's a great article from the yoga school that I attended, that's supplementary to this lecture. So I encourage you to read that. And it's talking more about finding your true son culpa. So it's recommended to use the same one, until that thing comes through for you. Because it is that powerful that it's bound to occur when created in the way that we do in yoga nidra. So as you create your son culpa, each time you practice, which I hope is daily, at least five times a week, if not more often, that is recommended for this course, that you use the same words that you not only use words, but that you conjure that feeling of your son culpa as already being true for you.

Feel it, experience it, maybe get mental pictures and you carry that son culpa around with you and tell it fulfilled. So know that you are working at a very deep level to affect change and that choosing the appropriate son culpa or result for you is important because this thing is going to transform your life. So though we may start with basic needs and necessities, eventually we're going to deepen into more of a self realization and an uncovering of the authentic truth of who we really are. How do we touch that? The truth of who we are. So I hope that you will discover through the practices what your son kalpa truly is.

So I hope this has given you a little bit better understanding of some of the wording that we've used, and the most important ones for the practice. The last one I'm going to cover here is Shabbat Sunnah. And I haven't attached an image here at the end of this video of Shavasana, also called Chava sin and death Great often the last letter The A is left off. So like Shavasana even though it's spelled like that is pronounced Avastin. So sometimes in the practice you'll hear me say lane show Lawson. And this is the corpse pose position, basically on your back, lying down with the palms facing upward.

So it's not to stimulate the nerves on the hands to like slightly apart the toes flopping out, eyes closed, spine is straight. And this is the best position to practice you're going to drain Okay, so that's, that's the basic terms and information on the sun kalpa. As I said, visit the supplementary material to get a little bit more information.
