Yoga nidra and dreaming. So I want to make it clear to you that Yoga nidra helps one to become conscious of their dreams. You can become conscious and lucid and you're dreaming, even though this is not the main intention for this practice, it is something that you can do, you can also become conscious in the deep sleep states, this is when there is no dreaming, the unconscious mind and this is also part of what Yoga nidra can help you develop. The most importantly and as talked about in the yogic texts, the Bhagavad Gita and so forth, where Yoga nidra is mentioned is that Yoga nidra is a means for attaining Self Realization. So even though I'm giving practices to help you align with abundance to help with chakra opening to help with rejuvenation, and so forth. These are intermediate steps along the way as you start to refine your son culpa and your resolve, and maybe you want to become more lucid while you're dreaming.

But the point is to remember that this life is like a dream. And that when we are experiencing separated states, between waking and sleeping, dreaming and deep sleep, and we are not conscious of the wholeness, that we are capable of, we are not conscious of our whole self. Yoga nidra helps bridge the gap, though it is not just the bridging state Yoga nidra encourages the development of a fourth state which I've mentioned in this course. Known as Toria. Toria is the fourth state of consciousness that encompasses all of the other states, waking, dreaming and deep sleep, the conscious the subconscious and the unconscious minds. So yes, you can help yourself have better dream recall, using Yoga nidra waking up in the night writing down your dreams, your dreams will change from just karmic clearing, Dream symbol, working out the psychology of your day, to more spiritualized dreams.

Or in other words, you might clear the chakras during your dreams you might meet teachers there, you might experience other levels of dreaming, that's another place altogether, but then beyond that, is this place where we start to erase the lines and become very conscious of who we are on a grander scale. Now, this is the true purpose of yoga nidra. And ultimately, if you keep practicing this is the goal is to help one become completely aware of one's whole being at once. And, you know, when I first started to utilize these practices and started to lucid dream, I was a little nervous, I was nervous that I was going to be awake all the time and not go to sleep. And if I was aware that I've never rest and how could I handle rep not resting from this reality and, and that was a normal fear for a human mind to have when you're not prepared for having total superconsciousness.

But, you know, that's a fear that you have, just keep working through practice, it's not going to take you to a place you're not ready for yet. So when you're ready for superconsciousness when you're ready to access all the realms simultaneous Then those veils will be parted for you. And you will be able to have that awareness and masters able to have the awareness of all these states simultaneously. So that one may choose appropriately in every moment how to interact with someone how to be in any given moment. And you know, dreams are given to us to teach us how to better act in our waking state. So as we continue our spiritual path in a spiritualize dream, then soon we'll be able to merge and those lines will not be a separation anymore.

Because largely dreams teach us things possibly faster and deeper than we are able to experience them in waking time. So as we're ready, then those lines will be erased and we will be able to access To the to the fourth state of consciousness and the calmer more self realized being. But until that point we are progressively moving along the lines of what yoga nature can assist us in doing erasing tensions healing our body opening our chakras clearing, reprogramming the mind into a place that we desire, starting to remember our dreams access the awareness that is locked in the dreams. So yes, becoming lucid in our dreams is a huge step toward our own enlightenment toward our own liberation. So don't be confused and consider it a sidetrack. It is along the path.

As long as you continue down the path toward the greater you. You know, it may be your path to continue to work with dreams and teach other people to just following the inner intuition and knowing that you have so In order to work more deeply with your dreams, as I mentioned before, and as you might find in other texts or writings or classes about dreaming, is just to continue to write down your dreams so that your subconscious mind is aware that you are interested in accessing the material there more completely. You might set alarms for yourself in the night several times to waking you from the States so that you can have the access to the awareness that is there. And also to remember again, like I said that this waking state is also the grand dream, the Leela, the divine play. And so to ask yourself consciously during the day, you know, am I dreaming?

Is this a dream? Look at your body. Maybe run through some of the techniques of the beginning of a yoga nidra like quick scan of your body noticing where your body is. touching down to objects. When you're walking around, notice your feet touching the floor, start to listen to the sounds more consciously as you're walking around. So you're starting to plug yourself in to this reality as if you're going into a yoga nidra all the time.

And that will start to bring you into that alpha state while you're walking around while you're being and that will happen as you are ready also, as you are interested in taking on more information about accessing your dreams and accessing the full potential reality of the dream that we're all living in. So I've attached some supplementary material to give you a little bit more guidance on the subject, that if you're interested in accessing the full potential of your dreams and the full potential of this dream reality, then you will just by continuing to practice and making that your resolve
