Okay, now that we have everything cut out is Tom so Okay, the first thing that we're going to start with is the handles. Now if you haven't done so already, go ahead and put the interfacing on your both of your handles, which you can see here. Once you do that, you want to fold it in half, press it. So after you press it, then you want to make sure you have your seam allowances on and you want to press those in as well. Just to line it up. And then once you have excuse me once you have that done Then we're going on so close to the ends of the line all the way now So you can take your time on this.

This is how so on a normal basis I've been sewing for about 12 years now. So if you're just barely starting out, we can take your time. No, no need to rush but I kind of saw it this speed all the time. I'm so used to doing it. All those professional soldiers out there. If you are watching this, you know what I mean.

And then once you get that close if you want, you can so on the other edge to match it up with distinction, or you can just leave it like it is normally, so both edges so that's probably what I'm going to do. And then after that, we're going to attach the handles to the bag. Okay, now we're going to attach the handle to the bag. If you can see here, I measure in on both outsides four and a half inches in on each side. And this is where we're going to attach the handles to the bag. So, first, we'll take one handle And then we're going to attach it at half an inch seam allowance and we are going to do the same Okay, now that we have the handles attached at the half inch cinema, you probably can't see this but I marked out a square on each handle a half an inch away from the same line.

So basically what we're going to do, if you want to do this or however you want to do it, we'll make a box and then the X to give it an extra hole as far as for the handles. And then you're going to do that on both of the bags for a hand Lost my scissors Once that is done, then I just take my sewing hand sewing needle and I pull the threads onto the back side and then timeline cut it Okay, now that we have our handles attached, we are going to sew the outer shell of the tote bag starting with the bottom first and then the sides. Now before I do the sides, I'm going to press this out. You can see my iron because I'll have a big space so don't have to worry about that. So I'm going to press this out.

And I'm going to come back and I'm gonna do doubters. Now that is nice and pressed out. Now we're going to do so Remember, we're sewing at a half an inch seam allowance. Okay, now that we have the sod song, we're going to press these out. And then what we're going to do so these corners and sort of tote bags gonna have a boxy shape to it when we're finished. So I'm going to go press these out, and then I'll be right back.

Alright, I'm back. Now we're going to sew these corners to give it the boxy shape on both sides. Remember, half an inch Okay so now that we have that Done. The last thing to do is to fold over the three and a half inches and we're going to press that down. So I'll be back
