DESCRIPTION: Remind students of the production roles video watched previously and re-watch now.

Review production roles and write them on the whiteboard. Ask students to explain these roles to you.
Ask: &ldquo;What does this person do in the movie-making process?&rdquo;

Director: Is in charge of when the set is ready to be filmed. The director instructs the camera operator as to when to snap the frame by calling: &ldquo;Action
Camera operator: Controls the computer software to record the scene. Follows the instructions of the Director.
Story editor: Keep the overall story in mind to be sure that the scene follows the story correctly. Decide if placards or other visual cues should be inserted during the editing phase.
The set designer&nbsp;is responsible for making sure all of the elements of the scene are on the set and placed correctly for the story.
