DESCRIPTION: This course is designed to lead participants through the production process involved in creating a stop motion animation. By the end of the session, participants will be able to identify the elements involved in the pre-production, production, and post-production of a stop motion animation.
Additionally, students will understand that every movie tells a story and that stories are defined by certain elements.
Students apply what they learn each step of the way, progressing toward the goal by building upon what they&rsquo;ve already learned and created. Movies created during this course will demonstrate an understanding of literacy and storytelling structure.
Each module is designed to be taught in a single class period of 45-60 minutes but can be sped up or stretched out according to the time available. The first lesson in each module contains a Lesson Plan&nbsp;to download that contains:
