DESCRIPTION: Encourage the groups to start thinking about sound effects for their movie and create titles and credits so that the audience knows the name of the movie and who made it.
Explain how creating scene placards, credit slates, title cards, and other visual cues will help move the story along in the film.
Provide markers, paper, etc. for making placards, titles, and credits.
Capture the placard in a frame in the stop motion software. It will automatically be added to the end of the movie timeline where it can be selected, copied, and pasted into the desired location on the timeline. Paste the image 20-40 times.
Remind students that written cards need to stay on-screen for a minimum of 20-40 frames in order to be readable by the audience.
